Garden City Beach
Garden City Beach is an unincorporated community of around 10,000 people in Horry County south of Myrtle Beach between Surfside Beach and Murrells Inlet. The majority of vacationers stay in beach houses or condos, and the views across the tidal marshes are breathtaking.
What to Do:
Garden City has access to both the ocean and the inlet, so it is great for fishing, crabbing and water sports. The community offers a marina, amusements, restaurants, a fishing pier that features live music during the summer evenings and a creek walk that spans the salt marsh.

The 668 foot-long Pier at Garden City has been voted “Best Fishing Pier” three out of the last four years by the readers of the Sun News in Myrtle Beach. The pier offers visitors an on-site café, bar, arcade, tackle shop and even nightly musical entertainment.
